2008 Grand Opening of the Mindful Ecotherapy Center

In late summer of 2008 the first office of the Mindful Ecotherapy Center opened in Saluda, North Carolina. Convenient to several hiking trails and the Green River, Saluda soon became the home of our annual Mindful Tubing trip down the river.

The first office of the Mindful Ecotherapy Center was in a complex featuring an organic bakery, gift shops, a restaurant, and a barber.

This dirt road led to Pearson’s Falls near Saluda. Clients would often hike to the falls for meditation and ecotherapy.

One advantage to the original location was that there was an organic bakery and coffee shop in the red barn. Clients could stop off for coffee and baked goods after their appointments.
